FK1001 - Solar Fan (fantastic for teaching the basic ideas of solar power)

This kit uses a silicon solar cell,  to convert sunlight energy into electrical energy to drive a fan.

It is a tangible demonstration of energy conversion from light to electricity and electricity to motive power.

Further, it demonstrates how solar power as an alternative to battery or mains power.
